Sac & Fox Shakedown!

Starting November 3rd, Goldfinch Cyclery is teaming up with LAMBA and NewBo City Market to bring you a weekly mixed terrain, all-weather, group ride. Check-in at the market starts at 5 PM every Thursday– and we’ll roll out by 5:30 PM. Make sure you have the right bike, gear, and attitude to comfortably handle some mud and cold temperatures after dark. We’ll finish our 12-15 mile loop back at the market by 7 PM. See you then!

Sac & Fox Trail Recovery

Trail friends,

The recent flooding in our community has left the second half our beloved Sac & Fox single track in shambles. With plenty of quality riding left to be had this season, lets Team Up to Clean Up along with our LAMBA friends this coming Sunday from 2:30PM to 6:30pm. We’ll have vehicle access available to get closer to the work area (see map) and will be directing efforts as people arrive. If you enjoy riding the trails please consider lending a little time to clear out debris. All tools and supplies needed will be provided, but please bring the appropriate attire for dirty work and supervision if you’re a youngster! Read more

Officially Reopen, friends!

In an effort to avoid the recent flood, we packed up our bike shop, originally located at 1120 2nd St. SE, and decided to take the opportunity to re-establish ourselves just ’round the corner in a space much better suited to our needs. We’ve spent the last two weeks building out our new storefront and this coming Friday the 14th, from 5-9 PM during the Flood the District Celebration and Benefit, we’d love for you to stop by and help us break the space in. We’re considering this our official re-opening and will assume our regular business hours moving forward. Thank you for your patience. We hope to see everyone that has helped us get through this on Friday!
