Our newest shop bottle design pays tribute to the Iowa State/County Parks & Recreation Area signage and embraces the natural wonders that lie behind every great park sign. While #OutsideIsFree, developing and conserving these invaluable sometimes historic destinations is most certainly not. That’s why 100% of the profits from these rad 26oz Purist bottles will be donated to our local Linn County Conservation–and specifically earmarked to fund an information kiosk to be built near the recently developed mountain bike trails at Squaw Creek Park. The kiosk will provide users with trail maps, current riding conditions, as well as information on park happenings and how to get involved with the group of dirt heroes that make it all possible LAMBA (Linn Area Mountain Bike Association). Stop by the shop or order one from our WEBSTORE and help us contribute to this exceptional local resource.

Calling all campers! Pack up your bicycle and skip town with us June 24th/25th.
Here’s the scoop. We’re planning to roll out from the bike shop (208 C 12th Ave. SE) by 2pm Saturday, June 24th, and riding 30 leisurely ‘no drop’ miles to our reserved campsites at Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area for the night. This is a 100% self-supported camping trip, individuals are totally responsible for packing their bike with all the food, water, camping gear, and positive vibes necessary! There are a few potential pit-stops along our route and there are restrooms and running water at our campsites. The following morning we’ll enjoy some breakfast essentials and make our way back to Cedar Rapids along the Cedar Valley Nature Trail. Give us a call, email, or stop by the shop with any questions and be sure to ‘join’ the event on Blackriver so we know you’re coming!
…for the Beverly Fat Tire Frenzy! We’ll have our tent set up on-site with all the race essentials and positive vibes to get you to the starting line. If you’re racing, be sure to stop by the LAMBA tent and thank the fine folks who maintain these trails and organized this stellar local event. Better yet, consider signing up to be a member and contributing to such an invaluable resource for our cycling community. See you there!
