Sac & Fox Corridor Clearing this Saturday & Sunday

All hands on deck! Come on out and join us for a weekend of trail clearing on the recently established single track near the Sac & Fox Trail.  The area has quickly become a destination for local rides and if you’ve already enjoyed the area you know how much potential it has. If you want to ride it, why not be a part of making it possible. We’re planning to work from 9am-noon both Saturday and Sunday. Show up early if you need a pick-me-up, we’ll be there with free coffee provided by Roasters.
Meet / park here – https://goo.gl/maps/Jg8Sh8h7JUQ2
Plan on parking in the gravel lot just past the train tracks at the end of First Ave. The volunteer work will take place in the woods and grasslands adjacent to the Sac & Fox trail corridor… we will be clearing trail corridor with hand tools, expect to walk distances up to 3 or 4 miles.
*Event will take place rain or shine, lightening will result in delay / cancellation – decision made on site.
*Routine outdoor risks (trips, falls, scrapes, cuts, bruises, burns, poison plant exposure, biting insect / critters, etc.)
*Routine outdoor precautions (sunscreen, bug spray, proper attire / footwear, someone knows your location)
*Supervision of minors mandatory.

Due to financial / legal / insurance reasons; and simply because it is the right thing to do… LAMBA appreciates your up-to-date membership, if not already, please become a current member of LAMBA via www.IMBA.com/join
